Aplication:
These cables are used to transmit analog and digital signals in instrumentation and control systems in chemical and petrochemical industry plants, power plants, natural gas and gasoline plants, etc. These cables are fireproof and can be continued with the supply. These cables are used in environments where no corrosive gases are released in case of fire. In case of fire, these cables inhibit the spread of the flames, which makes the smoke emission extremely low. Instrument cables must not be connected directly to low-impedance sources, eg. public power supply. With blue jacket it is suitable for intrinsically safe systems. The armor over the inner jacket protects the cable from mechanical impact.
